A Brief Overview

On Wendnesday I went to a friend's birthday party. We went out to eat at Ruby Tuesdays, Watched a "Land Before Time" movie, and played rock band and the piano.
Yesterday another of my friends came over at 7:30 in the morning.

As in EARLY.
She comes over early all the time, and I don't really mind, but I have problems with waking up. Today I had to wake up at 10 and I got out of bed at 11:30.
Also that day I had a dream that a burglar was going to come to our house and kill us, but my mom and I were at the store and one of my friends was at my house, so we were buying "Panoramic sound enhancers" (I don't even know what that means) to fool the burglar, but then we realised that it was too late, and we were going back home to see if everyone was dead, or if we still ahd time to save them....and then I woke up. Also the burglar had trivcked the detectives into thinking he was a good guy. O_O

So my friend came over yesterday and we had lots of fun, but I tried to pick her up and carry her over my shoulder like a fireman.....and I pulled a muscle and my back still really hurts. T_T

Then I was up late drawing a picture.......

LALALALALA WINTER BREAK.

Today I made a snowman.
Once I made a really mini snow man that was like, 2 feet tall.
Once I made snow people out of chunks of really hard-ice-snow piled on tope of eachother. They were also very small.
So I am officially counting this as my first oficial, three-part snowman.
My neighbor made it with me.

On a side note, my kitten is adorable.
Okay, she's nearly 3 years old, but she's really tiny!
She's meowing and meowing, and I know she's somewhere to my right but I can't find her so she keeps meowing. I'm picking up blankets and looking for her, but she's not there. I tell her that I can't find her, and the pokes her head out of sthe window curtain, stares at me, and meows.

Hello?

For the first time since 1947, it has snowed on Christmas.
Well, It snowed at night, so I didn't really get to appreciate it until the day after christmas, but it still counts.
I got a tablet for christmas, and I'm pretty sure it is one of the coolest things I've ever seen.
We had a couple of people over for dinner on Christmas. We played lots of loud games like Jenga and Kaplonk.

I really want to watch this old show called "Monster Allergy" but...I think it was canceled from TV and there is no other place to watch it in English. So.....I'm stuck watching tributes to the charecters on Youtube.

I would like to go outside, but it is cold and I don't want to mess up the snow.

You're Not With the Program!

I did absolutely nothing today but wake up, watch movies, and play video games.
Then we went to our neighbor (Well, more like family friend)'s house and ate dinner. Their cat is younger than my cat but bigger than it. Their cat sat in their chrismas tree and kept swatting, hissing, and bitting at me. I have lots of scratches on my hand now. Well....I shouldn't really have been aggravating it....I guess that is why it doesn't like me.
Their son is in college, though is shorter than me. He has really long hair.
He let me braid his hair.
He picked me up when we left, even though he's shorter than me.
We all went to see those music cordinated lights I told you about earlier.
We stayed about 5 hours.
"You need to go through this process: How will you get over there? Will you walk, bike, unicycle, or take a segway?"

Christmas Lights - To A New Extreme

There is a house off of my street where the lights flash to the music on this station on the radio.
The TONS of lights flash in tune of the beat, melody, and lyrics.
They even have a reindeer, donkey, and porky pig face whose mouths' move in tune of the lyrics.

Lunar Eclipse

There was a lunar eclipse last night.
Apparently, they only happen every 372 years. :D
I woke up at 2 AM when the moon was nearly covered. It was really dark, and almost tinted red. IT WAS SO COOL!
I had lost my camera, and my moms camera went dead, so we didn't get any pictures....
But it was awesome!

EDIT: I'm sort of a liar. By accident. I'm an accidental liar. Lunar eclipses happen semi-often, but one on the WINTER SOLSTICE only happens once every 372 years. Okay.

SOCKS.

So I just got back from this 'gift exchange' my friends put together.
I gave two of my friends piano books, and one of them pastels.
I got socks. XD
Socks are sort of my trademark, I love them.
Especially LONG socks.
So one of my friends gave me the most fuzzy fuzzy long blue socks ever. They're fluffy. And amazing. :D
One of my friends gave me nail polish and Invader Zim socks. (Both of us love that show) They say "Tacos" On them. They're awesome.
One of my friends gave me dark green and light blue long striped socks and........A KILLERS CD. (Sam's Town) :D

In other news, I just got interviewed by a news reporter about my dad.

So I just finished watching the entire 1st season of Negima.
Whoa.
It's really good.
I wonder if there is a second season......

Negima

THE BIGGEST SPOILER WARNING EVER.
So I bought this book for a plane ride.
When I read it, i was like, "WHOA."
(It's.........it's a little perverted.)
It's 16+, which I didn't realised until after I bought it)
But boy, is it amazing.
The art work is perfect.
I haven't been able to finish the manga, but I've started watching the anime.
Aome how the author/artis took tons of charecters and made each on unique, in both aperance and personality, something I've been needing to work on.
The story line is amazing, if not a bit confusing.
I'm on episode 25, where Asuna died.

There are like, 5 ninjas in that class, the most powerful human ever, a vampire-wizard, a robot, and ghost.
And no one has said anything?
Oh, and the teacher is a 10-year old wizard.
And one of the kids just died.....I'm not certain why, I think whe made a pact with the devil or something.
AND THEYRE LIBRARY IS SO EPIC.
I can't even describe it.
But It is SO touching.
I cried when Evangeline to Negi they couldn't reaise the dead, I cried when Yue kissed Negi in front of Nadoka.
Nadoka is my favorite.
She is so quiet, so cute. I am thinking of cosplaying as her for Animazement.
But really, thisshow and book is so full of emotion and plot twists....
YOU NEED TO WATCH IT.
I really want to learn Japaneese.
I'm on winter break now, so I've been watching it all last night.
I seriously cannot explain how this story makes me feel.
I wish that I could go on and on about it, but I really want to finish watching it....

Rain and Walk-a-Thons.

We had a walk-a-thon at my school today to raise money for my dad's heart transplant.

And it rained.

I'm not trying to sound critical, but that was really bad timing. We raised a lot of money, even if it was really cold.
They sold hot chocolate and baked goods, and tons of my friends and people I've never met came.
So, thank you If you came and supported us.

OHMYGOSHIWENTTOAPARTY!

I went to the best party ever last night.
So 3 of my friends and I went to this guy's house (It was his birthday)and we all played this game called 'risk' in his room until more people came. My best friend from fifth grade who I haven't seen in a long time was invited. :D
We watched a bunch of funny videos on the internet.
We all went downstairs and ate pizza and veggies. It was scrumptous. :3
We all played 'Beatles Rock Band', and I was really bad at the guitar (well, in my favor, I couldn't see; I didn't have my glasses. (My dad came and took them right before the party to get me new lenses)
I had to borrow my friend's glasses to sing.
I was being destroyed in chess while some other people played video games.
The guy who was totally beating me had wiped out all my pieces except for one pawn and my king, while I only had his........bishop, two pawns, and the queen.
He asked for my friend to come 'evaluate his process'.
It went like this:
"Okay, what color pieces are you?"
"Black-"
"You're good."
And I thought I was good at chess. >.<
We all went ice skating and on the way there we had an awesome conversation with my friend's sister about manga. Which of course, you know I love.
Ice skating was simply amazing.
I had acctually been wanting to go for a long time.
I figure that I'm pretty good. I was helping some of my friends skate.
After the zamboni (Those are creepy.) came around and the ice was soaking wet, of course I fell flat on my back. Them on my stomach. Soaking wet. D:
And since I love skating so much, now my ankles are all....raw? hurt.
We went back to the house and ate cake. We were picking out a movie to watch. (We had a tough time finding one with a....not R-rating that everyone agreeded on) when my mom came to pick me up. She gave me my glasses, took my backpack, and let me stay longer. I had already given everone hugs (My buddy from 5th grade literally picked me up off the ground).
We ended up watching this movie called 'Orange County'.
It was really funny, but...lets just say it was rated PG-13 for a reason.
I called my mom to pick me up (It was midnight :O) and we read manga in my friend's sister's room until there.
It was seriously the best party I've ever been to.

Lalalala

One more random thing.
I sorta predicted a song on the radio yesterday.
I asked my mom about it, and then it was the next song.
It was "Same Old Lang Sign" by Dan Fogelburg.
I like that song.

Eyes.

I need new glasses.
Yesterday I went to the eye doctor, and my eyes are so bad that my mom could read the letters on the eyechart without glasses while I couldn't read them with glasses.
They put dialating stuff in my eyes, and my pupils got all big and light hurt.
They also put numbing stuff on my eyes, then took the pressure of my eyes.
The numbing stuff really stung.
And I sort of freaked out when I realised the eye-pressure-taker-thing was acctually touching my eye.
After I put my glasses back on, I realised how badly I need new glasses.
My glasses have been making me really dizzy and giving me occational headaches.
One of the lenses seems to be stronger than the other, and since my eyes have changed since I got these last year, somethings just look confusing.

Whoa!

I just finished the "Me and My Brothers" series.

I'm sad that I'm finished.
It's such a good series, as I've said before, and It needs more credit.

SPOILER ALERT.

The library I go to only has the first 9 books, so I just bought the tenth and 11th.
You have no idea how unbelivably happy I got at the scavenger race when Masashi brought back Sakura under the item of "Girlfriend".
I knew Susuki was going to win. The chicken is a nice touch. :D

I love Susuki.
I really wish he had an unbelivably happy ending.
I wanted him to date Sakura.
And since that didn't happen, I at least wanted him to go on a date with Tanaka or something.

I didnt like Nana as much in these books.

I seriously nearly cried when Masashi lost him mermory.
Really.
Really truely.
Tears were welling up in my eyes until I got to the point where he got better.
I liked the line,
"Who'se hobby IS this?!!?"
"YOURS!"

All together, I love the series.

My Happy Happy Happy Day

I have had a wonderful day today.

* I've found out that my school is doing a middle-school production of "A Midsummer's night Dream" and I'm really excited. I really want to audition and be in it.

* I borrowed a pencil from a girl in my math class, AND IT CHANGES COLOR. It's heat sensetive and changes from purple to pink when you press on it. My friends were unimpressed with my discovery; they'd heard of them already. But I am still very happy.

* I got invited to a party this week and I'm really happy. Seriously, once I hung up the phone I started jumping up and down.

* Uhhhh

In other news....
The funeral was really sad.
I've never acctually been to an open-casket funeral.
On the flight back home, we had a reallllllly cool flight attendant.
At the begining of the flight she said,
"Remember, this is a open-seating flight, meaning you can sit anywhere you like, and you don't have to sit of top of each other........unless you're into that kind of thing."
At the end of the flight she said,
"If you leave anything on the plane after you leave.....make sure it's valuable so we can sell it on EBAY."

I feel really bad for leavaing my three cats at home with no heat in the house.
The house is heating up as we speak, but it's still 56 degrees Farinheit, and i can barely type.

Faith County

Tonight I saw my school's production of the play 'Faith County'. It's a REALLY hilarious play. I had read it in theater class and auditioned for it, but didn't make it. It's about a bunch of country people at a county fair. Somebody dies, people get married, it's a real knee-slapper. My favorite part was when the town....well, she's really loose, is confronting this guy (who was played by one of my friends) about marrying her. (She's totally in love with him and he doesn't really care about her) She gets so angry at him that she pushes him onto the table and shakes him. He's all curled up into a little ball, looking frightened, and it's hilarious. This girl also cuts her bridal dress up....really short. There's a lot of bad poetry done by her as well, and some bad singing too. The town idiot, Bubba, (also played by one of my friends) its conducting the wedding....wearing one of those long black robes....but no pants under it. You can totally see his boxers, or swim trunks or whatever they are. a whole bunch of people were cast as vendors and townsfolk, and they were to sell popcorn and cotton candy (Not at the showing I was at, it was a dress rehearsal) and at the beggining they did a big song and dance number.
The play was really cute. :D

Afterwards my mother and I went to the grocery store.
I like grocery stores.
We are leaving for Florida tomorrow.

Neopets and Flowers

I've been spending way too much time on Neopets.com. I used to be addicted to that site when I was little, and I still like it.
I've been working on a picture to enter into the Neopet's beauty contest, and I FINALLY finished it. Then i realized that my file size is like, 2 mgs, when its supposed to be like, 25 K. So....I tried to shrink it down and It looks dead. To the point of no return.

Mmmmm Cat Hair Sandwiches....

My cat seriously just jumped on top of me trying to eat my sandwich.
All day she's been jumping on top of me and throwing herself all over me.
It's really hard to do my homework, and especially to eat this sandwich.
She keeps pulling my arm down and trying to eat all the lettuce and turkey.
I didn't even know cats LIKE lettuce. O_O
And...she is not a small cat.....so.....yeah.

Longboarding

My dad and I went to one of our neighbor's homes and ate dinner with them. Their son is home from college for the weekend, and he taught me how to ride a longboard. It's really cool, but he is, of course, way better than me. He's really good......and I had a really hard time learning how to stop. Once I fell, scraped up my back and hit my head. It was really dark outside, but It was really fun!

well, not exactly, but it was amazing.
The scenery was so vivid and beautiful that I was awestuck.
The acting was stupendous.
It was fantabulous.

I feel like a terrible person.
I invited some friends to the movies, but one of them didn't know when it was and they missed it.
Then he called to ask when it was and I had to tell him that we went without him.
And I feel really bad.

Last night I went to a resturant and I was eating, when I bit my tounge. And It stated to bleed.....>.< I've always wanted to see that happen......and I've always wondered what It would feel like.......It hurts. I haven't bit my tounge in years....and I have sharp canines. Owie. And I bled and bled and blah blah blah. SO TODAY IS NOVENBER 19TH. HARRY POTTER 7 PART 1 CAME OUT THIS MORNING! I really wanted to go to the midnight premere, and my mum was going to take me, but she went to california for ten days beacause my Grandma is in the hospital. I'm going to see it with three of my friends tomorrow instead. Today my jacket got caught on my braces and I pulled my jacket away........and my bracket came loose....so I have to go to the orthodontist again. I'm a little worried, beacause the next time I was supposed to go to the orthodontis they're going to numb my mouth and drill srews into my gums.

So anyways. my word of the day is Quibble.
It means 'to argue' of something like that. I just like the way it sounds.
I'm making dolls out of felt of all the people at my lunch table.
I felt weird for going to the store and buying ten dollars worth of felt. She had to scan nearly each individual one and I felt like a jerk for buying all of it. Then my neighbor and I were wandering around this giant walmart trying to buy cotton balls (This was all for my plushies) and we went to the check out line and It was a little awkward.....two tennagers standing in walmart to buy two bags of cotton balls. There was a guy behind us with a name tag. He had a cool name.

Im my art class we are currently working in the woodshop. In sixth grade I was so scared of woodshop at first. It's really loud, especially the band saws. I'm making an emotional relief sculpture that shows 'Love and warmth". So I was working at the band saw today, and I felt like all the saw dust kept flying all over my forehead....plus it's pretty hot in there, with everyone sawing and I keep getting all overheated and my head was really hot and felt scratchy the whole time........
I know this is all pretty random.

Speed of Darkness

My mom is in california for ten days......
So were having this thing called wizard week at our school.
(Founded by another kid) we all dress up as hogwarts people, have duels, and pretty much go all harry potter for the week. Apparently we are having quittich try-outs on sunday.......
Hopefully I'm going to go see Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows this saturday with two of my friends.
In other news, randomly my mom got a fortune from a fortune cookie that says, "What is the speed of dark"

Also, I've recently discovered this anime called 'Azumanga Daioh' and It's really funny. It's very alike to lucky star in a way.

Man.......Two Years is a Long Time!

This guy my family knows really well is going on a mission for my church this week. Our familys have grown really close and it's very sad to see him go. I can't belive that I won't see him for two more years.....I'm going to have to write to him......That's all.

Killer Instinct

So one day I was uploading my music onto my ipod and somehow I got all of my mom's books-on-tapes. My mom likes to listen to murder myseteries and stuff like that......and I like girly romance books. But I was bored on the 1 hour bus ride home, so I started listening to this book called 'Killer Instinct'. Since I've been in bed all day not feeling to well, I just finished the whole thing and it's really good. Kinda a little freaky, but it's really amazing.

Just a Little Sick

So last night my family and I all went out to see the movie 'RED'. It was really good, and I usually don't watch action movies. It went by really quickly, and was a little blurry, but it was funny and action-packed. My brother and his family left to go home this morning, and I'm feeling a little sick now. Last night I felt so dizzy that I was stumbling around and my head wouldn't stay still. Now I just threw up a little...Have a good day, bye.

My Brother

So on Thursday night my brother drove in from Pennsylvania. My mom let me stay home from school yesterday so I could spend time with them. So yesterday my brother, my nephew, and I all went on a walk. My brother and I have been trying to convince my nephew (Who is nearly a year older than me) to race with us. We all started running down the road, and my brother was just about to win, when he pulled a muscle and sorta....broke. I won. Today I was lying on the driveway after taking a shower when he comes over and pours water out of a cup for me to catch in my mouth. My nephew plays football, and we end up wrestling whenever he comes. Sadly they are all going home tomorrow morning.

Fairy Dust and Airplanes

So yesterday I had school off for Veteran's day, and one of my friends came over. After playing the blindfolded cat whiskers game (blindfold yourself and draw a cat of your friends face), we were bored and a little hungry, so we decided to make brownies for lunch or breakfast or whatever. While they were cooking my dad randomly came in and said that he found a random dog running in the road, and that he wanted us to go out and look for it, in case it was our neighbors. So we ran up and down the road until my dad caught up with us in his truck, and we began to ride around in the back of his truck. It was so windy I thought I was going to fall out. We never found the dog, but when we got back, the brownies were about done. My friend, who is very short and skinny, was trying on some of my princess dresses from when I was about 6 years old (from halloween) We were eating brownies, watching youtube videos and making ourselves look like cats, when a woman came over and decided to buy my old princess dresses (My dad was selling them online). Since, at the time we had painted our faces to look like cats, with both highlighters, flour, and eyeliner,I was pretty embarassed when my dad asked me to come out and talk to the lady. Five minutes later he called me out again and told me that the lady was a clown. She professionally painted kids' faces, and she liked ours. :D She also pulled out the really awesome puppet and showed it to us. That's pretty ironic. The one day I look like a cat, a clown decideds to come to our house.... After that, we made paper airplanes and shot them out of my attic window. I'm horribly scared of my attic, so that was pretty creepy..........which reminds me, I still need to go and fetch the airplane that landed in my neighbor's truck. We then made ourselves look like faeries, with glitter, and make-up, and skirts. My friend went a little overboard with the glitter, and I'm STILL covered in it (But apparently it's 'Fairy dust' so too much is never enough). After that, not much happened, but we watched tons of youtube videos, specifically amazingphil. Seriously, you need to watch some of these videos...

I Assume You've Noticed I Like To Rant

I FINALLY read the 9th Shugo Chara book.
I can't belive that being such a fan girl, I hadn't read it untill a week or two ago.
It's so adorable and sparkly.
SPOILER ALERT
I love Tadase's protective side.
Acctually, you could also just leave it at 'I love Tadase".
He's my favorite charecter.
The creators, Peach-Pit, are such talented artists and authors. I would love to be a Manga artist, but I', not sure I've got what it takes.
ANYWAYS...
The book had me hooked all the way to the end.....then I had to read it again.
I should probably be reading my Lenguage arts book right now.....
ANYWAYS...
I'm not so sure why Ikuto Charecter Transformed into a pirate type guy. I didn't even know you could transform into different things with one Shugo Chara. Amulet Fortume amazed me.

RANT RANT JACK SPICER RANT

If you haven't gotten it into your head that I absolutly love cartoons, then.....thats.....pretty bad. Beacause I LOVE Cartoons. I have no idea why, but I just love animated kid's shows!
When I was little, one of my favorite cartoon shows was called "Xiolin Showdown".
I'd watch It everyday when I came home from school. It's about kung-fu and mystical items. I rediscovered the show a little while ago and fell in love with it again.
I'm not sure if he was when i was little, but my favorite charecter is named Jack Spicer (Evil Boy Genius). He's sort of the wimpy, pittiful bad guy. At the end of the show, he's mostly overshadowed by meaner, worse bad guys, but at the begining of the show, he was really really really important. His skin is like perfectly white, like he wears make-up or is albino or something, and his hair is bright red. He has red eyes, a cool robe-thing, and dark eyeliner under his eyes. He's really funny. He loves to build robots, and is sort of bossed around by a ghost/spirit.
He keeps being betrayed by people.....
He is really funny, and......yeah.
I still love cartoons.
I don't own Xiolin Showdown.

RANT RANT KYLE RANT

Okay, so one of my many great obsessions is cartoons. Specifically this character. Named Kyle the Conjurer. He is from this show called "Fanboy and Chum Chum" I really dislike the two main charecters, and if Kyle wasn't in it, I'd never watch it....ever. Kyle's a wizard. He got kicked out of his old school, Milkweed acadamy for turning his teacher into a rasberry flan. He's really funny and totally adorable. (As adorable as cartoon charecters can get.) He is super sarcastic...and a little evil sometimes....
I had started writting a fanfiction about him, but I don't really like how it's turning out, and I dropped it.

Halloween....

It REALLY doesn't feel like Halloween. No pumpkins, no trick-or-treating, not even a costume....this is so weird. I really wish I could go trick-or-treating, but.....it's 11 o'clock.............

It's just that for the first time I feel.....wicked

I first saw it in London, when I went to England, Ireland, and Wales on a school trip.
I was literally crying my eyes out once it was over.
So touching.
(The girl I was sitting with was like, "Are you crying?!?!? Here, let's hit our heads together, it'll make you feel better!" It didn't. It just made my head hurt. >.<)
I had started reading the book, but had stopped a little over halfway beacause it was really..........inapropriate for someone my age.
I was a little nervous about the play, beacause I was afraid It would be as innapropriate as the book.
IT WAS EPIC.
It was totally different from the books.
In the books, I really liked Boq.
After seeing the play, I sort of really hated him.
I felt so sad for Glinda at the end of the play, and so, so, SO happy for Elphaba and Fiero. I also really hated Dorthy. I mean, she stole Nessa's shoes.
THATS JUST WRONG!
Kristen Chenoworth has always been one of my favorite actors and singers, and I loved Glinda. Well, except for the whole, "Get her sister" Thing.
Naturally, Madame Morrible was horrible.
I loathed her so much when she dropped a house on Nessarose.
After we got back home, I saw it again in Durham.
Once more, amazing.
Wicked truely is the musical of the decade.

My Last Soccer Game

Oh yeah, this morning, at my soccer game, we won.
So our soccer team is undefeated this season.
It's a rec team, and this is the last season i could play beacause I pass the age limit by the next season.
So it's pretty cool to go down undefeated.
Plus I scored a goal.
It was pretty muddy though.
And I had pretty bad news before I got to the game, but....yay!
Then my friend and I sold some drinks.
And then i went home.
And then i watched cartoons.
Then I went to see Billy Elliot.
And then I bored you by typing about everything that happened to me today.

OH MY GOSH IT WAS SO AWESOME.
And it had such an amazing impact.
One second you'd be crying, the laughing, then be tense from the pressure.
I really wish they didn't cuss as much in it.
I mean seriously, SO MUCH CUSSING.
But it was so beautiful.
And now I wish I could dance.
I absolutely loved Billy's friend Michael.
Yeah, the gay guy.
I loved the musical number for "Expressing Yourself"
I mean, two guy in skirts and dresses dancing?
It was so funny.
Then the Letter from Billy's mom, man I was crying.....
It was so sad!
And then The angry dance was so intense, i thought he was going to kill himself!
All in all, it was so fabulous.
Except, you know, all the cussing.
I LOVE HOW BILLY KISSED MICHAEL IN THE END.
I really wish the play could have continued.
I wish that I could have seen Billy at the school.
But you know, when they did the final dance for the......bowing and stuff made me forget about being sad. (What's that called?)
It made me really sad when I learned the miners would all be unemployed.....
And I liked their accents.
OH! And when Billy jumped off the piano and did that big flip thingy, I was so amazed, I mean, that was AWESOME!
I highly recomend this for everybody....unless you have small children with you.
All the cussing really wasn't nessisary.
BUT THE PLAY WAS FABULOUS.
I loved the random little kid.
Oh, and the "Merry Christmas Maggie Thatcher" performance was so hilarious, especially the giant puppets.
SO THE PLAY WAS AWESOME.

Blood and Keyboards

Since it's the day before halloween weekend, i came to school with lipstick-blood dripping from my eye and mouth and neck...
I scared quite a few people.
There were a lot of really neat costumes on others as well. One girl was both an angel AND a devil, and a few cats and a native american.
It was pretty funny beacause a few people thought my make-up was real for a moment.

RANDOM QUESTION:
What do we have the 'Num Lock' key on the keyboard?
I mean, if they expect us to use the keypad, then shouldn't we be able to at our own free with without it......stopping?

You know that show I used to say I would never watch when I was little?
No you don't, you probably didn't know me when i was little.
So when i was little, i was a Pokemon kinda kid.
I loved loved LOVED watching cartoons in the morning. and wating bacon covered in mapple surup. Mmmmmm, that makes for a good saturday.
And I thought the show 'Yu-Gi-Oh!' was pretty stupid.
I never understood it and i guess i thought it was sorta boring.
The most I ever got from it was that the Blue Eyes White Dragon was pretty epic and that The main charecter totally overused The Dark Magician.
Plus I always supposed that since I loved Pokemon, I whouldn't watch Yu-Gi-Oh! beacause i figured they were like, cartoon rivals.
So now, theres a boy at my lunch table who talks about Yu-Gi-Oh! a lot.
And since hes my friend and i wished i knew what he was talking about, I started watching the show......
AND ITS PRETTY AWEOSME!
I love cartoons. I really love cartoons. And Anime. And Manga.
But that goes without saying, doesn't it?
Of course, The Blue Eyes White Dragon is still pretty epic, and Yugi does use the Dark Magician pretty often (With a good reason: IT'S AWESOME), I have a new respect for the show. I'm amazed by the charecters' stratagies, and now i sorta wish I had some Yu-Gi-Oh! cards....

Halloween?

I feel pretty lame for not having a halloween costume. I told one of my friends i would cosplay with her as Dib and Gaz from the show 'Invader Zim', since Gaz is her favorite charecter, and Dib is mine, but.....I didn't make a costume. Now, halloween is 3 days away and I probably wont even go trick-or-treating. (I always go at someone else's neighborhood, and no one has invited me) Last year I made my costume pretty quickly, in a hotel. (Long story) Shame.

Guess Who Went to Old Salemn And It Was Awesome!?

I don't think this title is structurally correct....
On a school trip yesterday I went to Old Salemn.
That's in North Carolina.
It was pretty dang awesome.
I had a lot of fun with fun people, and its really beautiful there.....i took lotsa pictures.
After Old Salemn, everone went to this GIHUGIC (okay, I know thats not a really word.....) mall. It was like, 3 and a half stories toll, and it was really cool. We all ate in the food court. People shared Cajun food with me. :)
I also learned what Cajun food is.
"You may now fondly hug the bride."
Yup, that's about all.

My Awesome Soccer Team is Awesome

So my dad needs a heart transplant.....
I know....it's horrible.
If he doesn't get one, he is going to die.

Yeah, let that sink in.
So the hospitals won't put him on the heart transplant list until we've raised a certain amount of money. Even with our insurance, it's still WAYYYYYYY over our budget. D:
My friend heard about this and she devised a plan to have our soccer team hold a bake sale.
Since our last name is Newhart, we called our efforts 'A new <3 for Newhart'
Yup. Pretty ironic.
So most everyone cooked a lot of food and we got to the soccer field last saturday and sold sold sold sold sold played in our soccer game sold sold sold waved signs around sold sold sold some more sold and sold.
We raised over a thousand dollars, were in the newspaper, and were on TV.
Plus We've been undefeated this season. ;)
(Forget the fact that we're a recreational team and the other teams may be pretty young......)
It was very tiering....and hot. We went out to the road and waved some signs around, and they were laying out a new road at the moment. Every time the steamroller-thing would drive by, the whole ground would start vibrating and steam would dance across the road. Sufficient to say, it was pretty darn epic. The edges of the road hadn't completely dried, and it was pretty weird.
The whole event was pretty amazing, other than the heat.
The I went and got pizza, took a shower, then had my first babysitting job.

YOTSUBA&!

I love manga.
As if you couldn't tell from my last two posts.
If you need a laugh, you definatly need to read Yotsuba&!
The whole time i read it, i was bursting out laughing.
My friend cosplayed as her the same time i cosplayed as Amu Hinamori.
OKAY OKAY OKAY.

So, It's about this little Girl, shes like....5......and she has super super cute green hair, and she is so random and loud and cute and funny, and the whole manga is just hilarious.
He father aparently took her in when he found her in some other country. I guess she was an orphan. I really want to hear more, but i've read all the books and thats all i can gather. T_T.
So her father works at home and hes really cool and relaxed and he walks around in his boxers all the time, buts hes also totally random.
Yotsuba lives next door to a family with three daughters.
She spends so much time there that she acctually calls their mother "Mom".
The oldest daughter, Asagi, is super beautiful and.....well, she doesn't get along with her family that well.
The middle daughter, who is my favorite, is named Fuka. She is in high school and is always teased, by EVERYONE in the book. She's 16.
She apparently wears really lame T-shirts, and has "fat legs."
I think shes really pretty and i love her personality, too.
The Youngest daughter is named Ena, and is 8.
Shes all about preventing global warming.
Shes a vegitarian, and wears lots of layers and cute designs.
She loves playing with dolls and playing with Yotsuba.

Uotsuba has a friend named Jumbo, whos like 8 feet tall. Hes a florist, and is in love with Asagi. Hes really funny. He's BFF's with Yotsuba's dad. They also have a......sort of friend named Yanda who is super mean to Yotsuba and she hates him.
With them and yotsuba's hyperness and curosity about everything, this story is hilarious.
Yotsuba punched a goat.
And loves milk.
And everything.
It's a hilarious book, and i was constantly laughing the whole way through.
Read it.

I love manga.
And one of my favorites is Shugo Chara!
SPOILER ALERT.
It's a really beautiful. The drawings are fabulous, the plot is epic, and the charecters are hilarious.
And of course, it has ROMANCE.

TADASE HOTORI.
He's my favorite.
and for a fictional charecter, hes goregeous. and polite. and sweet.
oh, but he wants to take over the world.....
Well, I like him better that Ikuto.
Beacause....ikuto is way too old for Amu.
Well acctually, Amu shouldn't be dating anyone anyway...since shes like, in 6th grade?
I've read all the books, and i really want to see the whole anime.
I found the Shugo Chara musical on Youtube.
It pains me that i don't know Japanese.
If my school had a Japanese class, i would definatly learn it.
But seriously, Shugo Chara is amazing.
All the plot twists!
Like, how Nadeshiko is really a guy who crossdresses as a girl to improve his dancing.
I really want to see Amu's reaction when she learns this. XD
And how Kairi is in love with Amu.
Along with Ikuto.
And Tadase.
And this girl is like, in 6th grade. :)
Oh, and How Utau is in love with Ikuto........yet......THEY'RE SIBLINGS.
But this Manga is so amazing....
It makes me all giggly, and sad, and happy....
ARG.
I thought it was so funny when Amu's mom discovered Ikuto had been staying at their house....
And i get all giggly when Tadase confessed his love to Amu.
Tadase is so nice.....
It just touches my heart when he does things like bring his grandmother flowers.
And his story of him as a little child just broke my heart.
And i love the part where he wheres a skirt. XD
I cosplayed as Amu Hinamori for Animazement.
I love the little fanboy kid in the Anime.
I wish he was in the books, he's just so cute how he trys to express his love for Amu.....
Rima.....I really really didn't like Rima at first, with you know, making everyone her slave....
And being cuter that Amu.........(But we can't really argue that.....She's adorable)
And having no sense of humor (I was so wrong. XD)
One thing i loved about her was the contact list on her phone.

Me and My Brothers

I love manga.
I've been reading this series called "Me & My Brothers" and I love it.
This Manga definatly doesn't get enough credit.
It may not be fantasy or action, but its brilliantly written and its really cute.
It's a realistic fiction manga, and its sooooo good!
There are nine books so far, and I can't wait for the next.
SPOILER ALERT.
So, its about this girl, Sakura, who, all her family is dead, and shes living alone, even though shes in 8th grade at the start of the series. Then, these 4 guys find her and she learns that they are her long-lost brothers! WEll, step brothers. They aren't blood related.....It's a long story.
But It's really cute beacause her brothers have such deep personalities, and are always looking out for her, even if it gets annoying.
My favorite charecter is named Susuki, and he's one of Sakura's best friends. He has a crush on Sakura, and her brothers are always angry at him for that, beacause they are so over protective. It makes me said, cause he's my favorite charecter and I hate how everyone gives him death-threats. Her other BFF is a total flirt. She is totally envious of Sakura for having hot brothers. O_O
The main drama of the story is that Sakura is in love with her brother.
Even though hes like, 11 years older than her, and he cross dresses, and he acts more like a mother or older sister than a brother, shes despretly in love with him.
Its a great manga, and I highly recomend it. :3

Mentos and Coke

You know how Mentos and Coke explode together?
Well not explode, but...you know what I mean.
So I was at my friends house and we had mentos and coke.....and we decided to explode them in our mouths.
It was pretty funny.
It doesn't like, shoot out your nose or anything (Well, It might, but we probably didn't keep it in our mouths long enough)
So it expands and makes you do a huge spit-take.

Man, It's been a while.

Okay, so So much has happened but i'm really happy beacause spring break starts tommorrow and today is April fools day. :) This Saturday my mom and I are going on a 10 day long trip to Europe, and I'm really excited. We are going with my school, but it's optional. Still, I get to room with two of my best friends! Horray!

How many licks does it take to get to the center of a tootsie pop(c)? Well we decided to figure this out on the bus today. I licked, this kid counted. the magic number? 1899. UGG my jaw hurt! Oh well, it was fun! :)

Wow. My longest yet post is about pokemon. HOORAY!

So lately i've been getting really excited over pokemon! I went to an elementary school where a lot of the guys i hug out with loved pokemon. I go to middle school and BAM! it's now about sports, shooting games, blah blah blah. well, to tell it to you truthfully, I LOVE POKEMON!!!!!! When i was really little and the first season anime episodes were on the air, i didn't care about it that much. I mean, i watched it, but never really cared. Now pokemon doesn't even come on on our channels! (we have, like, 10 channels.) It really makes me sad, beacause i can't even see the NEW pokemon shows, let alone the origanals. Plus i'm too cheap to rent them. THEN! They started putting the first season episodes on the pokemon website! HOORAY! I've been watching them a lot now...and from what i've learned about the newer series, its sounds pretty bad. I mean, not the show itself, it's just, I CAN'T BELIVE THAT MISTY ISN'T IN IT!!!!!!! Misty and Ash would make such a cute couple if they were older~ As for the games, its annoying that i could never play the first generation games, since i never had a game boy advance, but i'm really glad that they're remaking silver and gold. MARCH 14TH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! yay. <3 Plus, they're combining the part from pokemon yellow, that bit where your pikachu walks behind you. I always wished that i was able to play that game too, so i'm major-ly glad that they're combining that factor in. I always sort of wondered why a lot of big time pokemon fans hate the pokemon ranger and mystery dungeon games....In my opiniun, both are good, especially pokemon ranger! It has such a great polt, yet it gets dissed. So not only am i excited for Pokemon heartgold/soulsilver, im happy for ythe new pokemon ranger game coming out later this year. Okay, the charecters DO look a little weird, but i bet it will be good. :D

Wow! so much snow that is like, a foot deep! And still coming down! Why does the good snow always come in January? I dont thinkm that it has EVER snowed this much before! (In my knowlage) Oh well, :D :D :D

Finally!

So FINALLY the midterms are over. Acctually, Algebra is the only midterm i took, but i'm glad that they are over. :) Plus, our first semester is over, which means that allthough i'll miss my friends old classes, i'll get an art class and wont have gym. Today's a Saturday. I'm so happy beacause for once, i'm not doing anything. I can just sit at home, sleep in, and play video games. Well, until 3:00. :D

Ugg, so I had ano old blog under another account, but i forgot my password and wasn't able to loh in, so i just copided and pasted this post. :)

So today was a really good day. My awesome friend came over, and we went bike riding twice, made brownies, and went to the mall. I got my ears pierced, something i TOLD myself i wouldn't do ever since i was really little. And when people ell you it doesn't hurt, well, I DONT BELIVE THEM!!!! IT HURTS! I cried, yeah, OW. Then we went to a store and smelled perfume, wore high-heels and pretened we were runway models, and went on this bungee jump thing. Then we went home and watched "Cloudy with a Chance of Meaballs" Which is a REALLY good movie :) My friend went to check her email, and for somereason when she tried to send an email, it made her do math problems. :) (she turned this feature off later. But i'm glad that it's finaly warmer outside. :)
